At the beginning of this year, long time senior hospitality industry executive, Ernie Wooden, was named President and CEO of LA Tourism and Convention Board. He is known in the industry for building relationships and driving business results, and we look forward to hearing about his insights on Los Angeles as a meetings destination.

About our speaker: Mr. Ernest Wooden, Jr.
Currently President and CEO of LA Tourism, Wooden has spent his entire career in the hospitality industry, including more than a decade in senior leadership positions in both global brand management and operations with Hilton Hotels Corporation. Most recently, EVP, Global Brands for Hilton, he led all worldwide branding initiatives, working with 3,000 properties in 80 countries. In addition, Wooden has also worked with the hospitality brands Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Doubletree by Hilton and Promus Hotel Corporation. He has also been involved internationally with hotel valuation, brand selection and investment analysis both as the EVP and Senior Managing Director at Alagem Capital Group, a privately owned, diversified investment group which owns the Beverly Hilton Hotel, amongst other high-profile properties, and as CEO of Creative Consulting, a company Wooden founded in 2010.
